The Pioneer DJ - VM-50 is an active near-field monitor speaker with clear sound and powerful bass for DJs and music producers. The VM-50, like its bigger brothers (VM-70 & VM-80), reflects the progress of the popular S-DJX series.
This bi-amp 2-way active speaker is made of high quality components and offers a fresh and professional design, as well as DSP control for easy sound matching to the room. Thanks to the aramid fiber woofer cone and vortex bass accelerator, frequencies are reproduced linearly and music is faithfully reproduced. In addition, the construction of the 4 mm thick aluminum front panel prevents unwanted vibrations.
With its clear, low-distortion sound and fast-responding bass, the Pioneer DJ - VM-50 provides club sound on the DJ set and in the studio.
High quality components
The Pioneer DJ - VM-50 features a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling rate and DSP, providing wideband audio reproduction with low distortion and powerful sound. In addition, the 4mm thick solid aluminum front radiation suppresses resonance and reduces vibration.
Aramid fiber woofer cone
From minimum to maximum volume, the aramid fiber woofer cones provide outstanding punch that can be felt in the bass and low mids. The reason for this is the, in contrast to conventional aramid diaphragms, 30 percent lighter weight and increased stability.
Vortex-Bass-Accelerator
The Vortex Bass Accelerator ensures that the low tones are reproduced accurately and free from unwanted vibrations. Apart from that, the ribs in the bass reflex port cause unobstructed airflow from the speaker, resulting in a pure sound.
Tweeter with constant directivity
The constant directivity of the tweeter allows powerful reproduction of mid and treble frequencies over a uniformly wide dispersion range. The shape of the tweeter and the edge of the woofer are structured to produce a natural sound.
DSP Control: Easily adjust the sound to the room
The Pioneer DJ - VM-50 has a DSP control for optimal sound adjustment to the environment. For this purpose, there are the Low and High EQ controls on the rear panel, each with 4 options. In total, there are 16 possible EQ settings that are easy to activate. You simply select the one that sounds best for DJing or music production during your set or in the studio, depending on the shape, size and construction of the room.
Fresh & professional design
The hexagonal aluminum front baffle design not only provides a stylish look, but also improved sound quality and durability. The special design reduces unwanted vibration and possible distortion. In addition, the tweeter guard protects the tweeter diaphragm from impact and damage. Finally, the brushed aluminum structure gives the speakers a professional finish, making them a perfect match for other Pioneer DJ equipment.
